It’s Spring Break in Williamson County, and not just for the locals.

Dozens of college students from throughout the U.S. skipped the beach this year to instead make a difference in people’s lives in Williamson County as part of our Alternative Spring Break volunteering opportunity.

The students, who are staying the week at Camp Marymount in Fairview, spent yesterday expanding and planting the Fairview Community Garden before learning some of the warning signs for suicide and what to do.

Today, students took some time after cleaning debris from recent storms to play with kids at the Fairview Boys and Girls Club, encouraging healthy lifestyles by making physical activity fun. Here are some of today’s highlights:
