Alternative Spring Break

This spring break, make a difference by joining us March 25 – 30, 2018 for United Way Alternative Spring Break in Williamson County, Tennessee! Volunteers will work in the community gardens which produce more than 2,000 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables for the community food bank. In addition, volunteers will work in support of the school systems by compiling data on food quality and taste and research recipes to develop cost-effective and healthier alternatives.

  • United Way Alternative Spring Break is an alcohol- and drug-free program. This prohibits alcohol consumption or illegal/irresponsible drug use by anyone, regardless of age, participating in the Alternative Spring Break. Any participant who does not adhere to this policy will be asked to leave the program and return to their place of residence at their own expense. Support of this policy by all involved is essential for a safe and socially aware break. Please check below to indicate that you have read and fully understand this policy.
  • As a condition of submitting an application, you must check her to acknowledge that you have read and agree to the following: I certify that the information provided is complete and accurate to the best of my knowledge. All entries become the sole property of United Way. United Way takes precautions to keep user information disclosed to us secure, and such information will not be disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes. I also grant United Way permission to access a background check to confirm that I have not been convicted of a felony. I recognize that any misrepresentation of information on this application will lead to my forfeiture of my participation in ASB 2018. I understand United Way at its sole discretion may terminate this program due to unforeseen circumstances, acts of God, or any other factor which it deems may limit the ability to ensure that the ASB program can operate without jeopardizing my well-being or that of my peers or members of the local community.
