Taste of Williamson draws largest turnout ever

Thanks to generous sponsors, participating restaurants, volunteers and those who sold and bought tickets, Taste of Williamson 2016, presented by Nissan in partnership with CoolSprings Galleria, drew its largest crowd yet, estimated at more than 1,500 in attendance.
The 14th annual event raised $47,202, an increase of more than $12,000 over last year’s proceeds. These funds will go to United Way of Williamson County and its partner agencies. United Way works to advance the common good by identifying and supporting solutions that help children succeed in school, move families toward financial stability, improve access to health care and provide support when people are in crisis.
Guests enjoyed everything from appetizers and entrees to unique cocktails and delicious desserts from returning restaurants and several new ones. At the event, the room was abuzz with talk about favorite new flavors or restaurants not previously visited. Live music provided by local favorite Ron Shuff sweetened the deal.
