Serving those who serve our nation
We believe they should be honored every day.
Through your support, United Way of Williamson County is there for our community’s veterans throughout the year by helping serve those who served our country.
An estimated 10,620 military veterans call Williamson County “Home,” according to the National Center for Veterans Analysis and Statistics. Your generosity helps provide these service members – both current and former – with many types of assistance, including helping deployed military personnel respond to emergency family situations, helping returning veterans find the tangible or emotional resources they need to resume daily civilian life and helping veterans navigate the process to obtain the benefits earned through their service.
It doesn’t stop there, though.
Of Williamson County’s veteran population, and more than 50 percent are ages 65 and older. Your United Way contributions help your community’s veterans maintain active, healthy lifestyles as senior citizens by offering social outlets, access to nutritious food and in-home assistance if needed.
United Way fights for the health, education and financial stability of every person in every community, but this fight would be lost without the military men and women who fight every day to protect our country.
Thank you to all our veterans.
