Nissan to present 2016 Taste of Williamson
July 21, 2015
Plans are underway for the 2016 Taste of Williamson, set for March 6.
Nissan will be the presenting sponsor, in partnership with CoolSprings Galleria, to benefit United Way and its partner agencies.
“The United Way works to make life better for people in our community, providing programs relating to education, financial stability and family health,” said Vicki Smith, Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility for Nissan North America. “Supporting the United Way aligns with our commitment to enrich the quality of life in the communities where our employees live and work.”
Taste of Williamson, approaching its 14th year, raises money for programs aimed at improving lives and strengthening communities by focusing on education, income, health and rebuilding lives. The event has been held at CoolSprings Galleria every year except one, when the mall was being renovated.
“We are honored to be able to host, sponsor and support the United Way of Williamson County in this annual community fundraiser, which raises much needed and valuable dollars to support programs in the Williamson County community,” said David Meadows, General Manager of CoolSprings Galleria.
“This is a must-attend event that is held in support of United Way, and we are grateful to work with Nissan, CoolSprings Galleria, our partner restaurants, other sponsors and all those involved to enhance our tasting event,” said Pam Bryant, President/CEO of United Way of Williamson County. “Over the past 13 years, Taste has raised over $299,223 to support local programs that are helping local people improve their lives.”
More than 1,200 people attended the 2015 Taste of Williamson, which featured 30-plus restaurants offering everything from “Pixie-Stick Martinis” to shrimp and grits.
The 2016 Taste of Williamson will be held March 6 from 7 to 9 p.m. at CoolSprings Galleria. Tickets will go on sale in December .
